Things that dont make sense

Why do i do things that i know are steps back? Why is the most precious, adorable admirer also the one i need to not be with? Why, when we all crave reassurance, do we not reassure? Why did i give myself a convincing pep talk about "no cheesecake" and then gobble some up? Why did someone get mad at me for bringing delicious refreshments? Why am i not in bed right now?

Day After Fruitcake

  • Today I drove for the first time since last Thursday.
  • I usually don't like to use proper punctuation but in this post I will try.
  • I only had one piece of pie on Christmas day; to be specific, it was in fact, cheesecake not pie.
  • Sentences with lots of commas can be tricky.
  • Today was a good day at work. I was very productive and, more interestingly, got to see the giddy, girly side of someone who usually is very private.
  • I had a very unexpected missionary experience today. It made me happy to feel "trustworthy & reliable."
  • For Christmas dinner last night we had rib eye steak. I was happy about that.
  • My mom made monkey bread for the first time in many years. I have left overs in my car and am excited to eat them.
  • My roommate comes home tomorrow. Hopefully things will be back to normal.
  • I have destroyed my kitchen in hopes to make it beautiful.
  • Removing tile is harder work than one may think.
  • As a proud yellow, I am a bit disappointed that tonight I will be skipping a party.
  • I was going to go to the gym tonight but I am using my snowy driveway as an excuse not to go.
  • I have a crush on a boy at work that also has a crush on me. He gets back to Portland on Monday. I am nervous about that.
  • Sometimes crushes can be confusing.
  • Sneaky kisses are exciting. Excitement can confuse true feelings.
  • I need to unload my car. More accurately, I need to unload the car that I borrowed from my parents because I cannot get mine out of my garage.
  • I have seen talk shows that reunite long lost family members after extended separation. This week Facebook, after a 22.5 year separation, did the same for me and my family.
  • I think I gave good gifts this year.

Ridiculous . . .

i have said that i have no words about the _ _ _ _ & _ _ _ that have shut down the greater portland area but i do have words about the pros & cons of being stranded.

friday i got a ride to work and then a ride to girls night with my girlz from work. there was some mighty delicious food there. lasagna, chocolate bunt cake (made with applesauce & sugarfree pudding) - - that cake rocked.
while i was at girls night it started to _ _ _ _. earlier I had felt like a wimp for not driving to work cause the roads where dry. but at midnight when we left girls night i was very grateful for carol who was my ride AND for the post girls night girl talk that ensued.

saturday was the beginning of my hostage situation. i had one thing on my to do list: go to the post office and mail E, H, & L's christmas package. thanks to J & D mission was accomplished and then i had lunch at a chinese buffet with a bunch of potty mouth boys (and a secret crush missionary).

sunday i did not leave my house. i finished the "ugly" puzzle and read an entire book.

today work was officially closed. well HR was closed (we are non essential to saving lives) so i am destroying my kitchen. some girls should just not be allowed to handle tools (hand or power).

PROS: no work, reading time, friends who drive me, constant christmas lights all over, me time, started extreme home makeover - kitchen edition, good tunes, mail is still being delivered and delivering some pretty heartwarming cards at that, my cat is alive, i am fantastic company for myself (not boring at all!).

CONS: sister is stuck in utah and cannot make it to oregon for christmas, my house is an absolute disaster (A.D.D. and cabin fever is not a good combo), the cat is hanging out inside against my better judgement, my family is without power and stranded as well - - i am wondering if i will make it up to parrett mountain for christmas, i am wasting all my vacation days being home alone.

Highlights: the chocolate cake from friday, the chicken mac & cheese from saturday, nachoes from sunday, vanilla hot chocolate, biscuits & gravy today. comfort food . . . oh and joe's attempt to entertain me by breaking a piece of _ _ _ _/_ _ _ on his head and getting a nasty "mark" and cut. its not a highlight that he got hurt but since he went through such effort to entertain me it must get an honorable mention.

Random Review AND Deep Dish Brownies

I heard a quote several years ago that has stuck with me. Of course I am a paraphraser: "if everyone in the world gained 10 pounds we would all be much closer together." As I blog my accountability for all the dessert I eat, I find that I really do feel much closer to many of you in the process.
But in addition to my sweet tooth admissions, I also I have a few random share points to intermingle with the talk of food.
#1 - I am sooo excited to see my sis, Katie, and her family next week. And not just because there is a 100% chance that she & my other sis, Mary, will make deep dish brownies.
#2 - I love the Fergie song Clumsy. It is fun to fall in love. OK, the whole "falling in love" thing may be an exaggeration but I love new crushes. Especially new crushes that give gifts of homemade COOKIES!! And plan private cookie making parties. On the dessert scale of 1 - 10, cookies rate about a 4 or 5. But special crush cookies rate a 10!!! And I love SECRET crushes and related rendevous. Deliciously daring!! Sometimes I think I might go straight to hell for lust and gluttony but "a girl cant help it."
#3 - I have come to terms that I am a spoiled brat. Thoughtful gifts of rainbow sprinkles, GUMMY BEARS and chocolate from one that is too charming really puts me in the Christmas spirit. Two weeks ago I was feeling pretty ba-hum-bug but after cookie parties and gifts of GUMMIES I cant get Jingle Bells out of my head and the skip out of my step.
#4 - I am also HUMBLED by how blessed I really am to have good friends and supportive family. On Sunday I attempted to drive in inclement weather to my parents' house where my dad was waiting to put studded snow tires on my little car. However, on the way I got stuck in the snow and ice. MY HEROES SAVED ME!! Mikey came to my rescue and took me to a delicious burrito & fondue party with cozy, family-like friends. After an evening of friends and food, Joe took me to rescue my car. Then my fantastic roommate, Natalie, chauffered me to work on Monday. ily all.
#5 - Cold weather makes me crave blankets, books, and homemade SOUP!! Last night I made some deliciously sensual chicken and rice soup. mmmmm . . . . . and I got to share the soup with my roommate in matching blue bowls and then with my coworker Carol today at work.
#6 - Last weekend was my roommate's annual sweater party that included her traditional wassail. However, the drink hit of the evening was some eggnog delight that was mixed with delicious eggnog icecream. I have never had egg nog before and I dont think I ever will again unless it has eggnog icecream in it. It was delicious. Whose brilliant idea was that?? (hint: i am fishing for blog comments here . . .)

Now I do . .

I actually think I may be becoming less stubborn than I used to be. That is kind of a scary thought since I can still be pretty stubborn. But I have been making efforts to do things that before I was close minded to (aka: refused to consider.) Here are a few accomplishments:
1. Eating jello - - before I refused to eat it because i heard that it had bone and horse hoofs in it. many many years have passed until just this last month I tried it. its delicious. atleast in sugar free snack pack form. i love it.
2. Eating hot dogs - - I have not eaten a hot dog since 2nd grade. then this summer I ran a half marathon and ate a free veggie dog at the end of the race. It was so fantastic. I had a kosher dog for my birthday. This is a big step for me.
3. Reading in the bathroom - - This used to disgust me. and since so many people read in the bathroom books from used book stores and/or libraries disgusted me. but I am making efforts to get past this. i think it is working. I now even have a library card.
4. Eating in my bedroom. perhaps this comes from my phobia of ants (and bugs in general). but I am pushing past this nerosis and actaully have a little celebration inside myself when I see a dirty dish on my desk in my bedroom.

So there you go . . . those are a couple of my small accomplishments over the last few months.

You never know . . .

Sometimes, usually right after I put on my poker face toward life, I am AMAZED at humanity and how detailed my own personal cosmo is. In the sky of Sara's universe there are occasional comets and shooting starts. Even in my own universe there is so much uncharted space. The vastness of that uncharted space thrills me and gives me infinite hope.
People in general are fascinating. And every once in a while I get to meet and glimpse the humanity of someone outside of my usual realm of association. These experiences leave me giddy for more.

The Devil in my plant

For my work anniversary this year my boss gave me a plant. Over the past few months there have been character changes in the plant. Half of the plant is dead, dried up and ugly. The other half of the plant is alive, youthful and beautiful. These two halves are very distinct (as you can see below).

The other day I forgot to do something before I left for an appointment. When I got back I learned that people had had to scramble to get it figured out. My boss came in to explain the situation and I pointed to the plant that he had given me. I told him that the devil side of the plant had possessed me to leave without making sure things were in order. (He actually accepted that excuse.)
In similar theory, I have been thinking a lot about "the bigger person" vs. "the littler person". Just once I would like someone to tell me to remain immature and childish and that the other person should be "the bigger person." It never happens. I think it is my destiny to be "the bigger person." Sometimes this destiny makes me irritated. I like being immature and ridiculous dammit!
But then I picture my dad shaking his head in disappointment at me and then I feel embarrassed.
Sometimes I hate taking the step to be "the bigger person" but in the end I usually feel good and strong and, yes, even powerful. There really is power is being good.
Conclusion: I hope that the devil possessing half my plant is exorcised and that my plant lives a long and flourishing plant life.

Things that make me happy today

I am soooo happy that I can take control of a bad situation and find things to make me happy almost immediately. Life is great!! Here are a couple things about today that make me soooo happy.

#1 - my dinner date. I know I have already posted this picture but it is going in this post too because it is the only one on my computer. I am excited to be domestic for a good looking man that seems to adore me.

#2 - This picture! Tough guys with a soft side are H-O-T.

#3 - Christmas Lights are UP!! I got out of work early today so I used the time to get some Christmas lights up. This makes me happy. I think I will add more lights soon but just these lights and having had the time to do it today make me H-A-P-P-Y!!

#4 - A great workout. Something about being fired up gives me great energy and adrenaline to lift faster and heavier. I felt like a gym super star. And now I am headed back to tackle the stair stepper . . . BRING IT!!

#5 - Cheerleading friends!! Ones that text me and say they love me. Ones that assume the role of body guard. A fabulous roommate-friend!

#6 - My new General Conference talk CDs that arrived in the mail yesterday and kept me company in the car today. Love it!!

Lust

It doesn't happen very often that I develop a crush on a hottie stranger or celebrity. But it has happened 3 times in the last couple years and I thought I would dedicate this blog entry to those hottie men that have given me tingles without even so much as a touch.

#1 - the stock model in our "we know you're not afraid of needles" - give blood campaign. I love him. He is posted up at my desk and I think I want to frame him.

#2 The hottie fireman that I saw at the Safeway in Newberg 2 summers ago. I believe we made some significant eye contact too. Man! I was ready to corrupt myself and him both. Pure lust doesn't happen like that very often for me.

#3 And most recently . . . Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I dreamt about him last night. I love his ruggedness and charming smile. He is my latest crush and am grateful for him coming into my life. He makes me smile just to look at him.

Why I hate dating (part 2)

I dont like gambling. Its a waste of resources (time, money, feelings, saliva). To be completely honest, I guess I have gambled on a few occasions but it was just for entertainment value. For instance, one time I joined an office football pool where I had to pay $5 each week and make my team picks for the week. That was fun. It was a social activity. And I actually won the pool 3 times that season.
Another time I gambled on slot machines in Vegas. And once in the Bahamas. The Bahamas was a "i've-never-done-this-before-so-I'll-waste-4-quarters-to-say-I've-done-it" experience. In Vegas I got free tokens so it wasn't really my resources I was wasting.
But lately I have realized that love and dating are pretty much a stacked-against-you gamble. I dont like it. I dont want to discredit the entertainment value of the sport but once the chips start adding up to more than 4 quarters I start getting a little hestitant to keep playing. Especially when I think I might be playing a losing hand. And chances are . . . . most hands will be losers.
Here was some ways I relate dating (and love) to gambling:
#1 - the # of dates you go on does not in any way increase your chances of winning a jackpot
#2 - it is much, much more common to win back 10 quarters (still exciting) than to win any sort of jackpot
#3 - winning 10 quarters is exciting enough to keep most people interested and coming back for more.
#4 - just when you are ahead, you can lose it all on a stupid bet/ hand/ trick-up-someone elses sleeve
#5 - keeping a poker face is wise but much less fun for others and results in people not wanting to play with you
#6 - beginners luck sucks for those that have been playing a long time
#7 - just when you walk away from a table or slot machine chances are someone new will sit down and win your jackpot out from underneath you
#8 - gambling and love are addictive and irrational
#9 - Gambling and love both have tendancies to leave people saying "what the H was I thinking?" and "Why the H did I think that was a good idea??" and "Why the H didn't I walk away when I still had my shirt on (this is a figure of speech)."
#10 - When you do win the jackpot everyone else is jealous

Going Public Again

Arg . . . fine. I will go public again. Who cares. Now anyone can read my rants and antics again. Just dont quiz me about them later. OK? OK. . . .

Anonymity

There is something about knowing other people are reading my blog that makes me anxious. This blog started off as a square assignment and a personal venue for me to muse and rant about whatever was on my mind or rather whatever was mindlessly floating around in my head.
Its not particularly that what I say is secret, its just that I dont necessarily want to talk about what I blog about. So when I get phone calls from people wanting clarification it makes me uncomfortable. If you want to comment about what I write do it on my blog. Set up your own blog. I dont want to talk about it.
I wonder if I should set up a new blog with more anonymity. I am kind of irritated that the number of my blog readers are increasing outside the square. The square is safe. But I guess I will adjust and hope my readers adjust too. (B.L. - this is not referencing you.)
Can you hear me now??

Accomplishments

I was thinking the other day about little life accomplishments. It is easy to dwell on big life failures but little life accomplishments are what keep me going. So I thought I would post just a little example since I thought of it.
A while ago someone wrote me a "i hate you because . . ." letter. It was 12 pages hand written, front and back. It bulged in the sealed envelope that was handed to me.
I knew that a bulging envelope like that could not contain anything that I wanted to read so I didn't. I didn't even open the envelope. I stuck it in my book and basically forgot about it.
A few days later my "hater" called me to apologize for the note. They had been angry and needed to vent. They hoped I would forgive them for the things they had written.
I told them that I had never read the note. They were shocked. Perhaps a little disappointed, and yet extremely relieved. They asked if I was the least bit curious and how I had restrained myself. They called me "inspired." The next time I saw that person I handed them the sealed envelope back. Not another word was spoken about it.
I am not really sure if I was "inspired." In fact, I think I was just cowardly. Recently I received a voicemail from someone that gives me great anxiety. I couldn't bear to listen to the message so I made someone else listen to it and then delete it.
People say things they dont mean. People say things they do mean but feel guilty about later. People dont say things they should.
Regardless . . . I have never wished I had read that letter.

Did you know???

Did you know that pumpkins grow in trees? Well I have photo evidence.
I guess I am somewhat unobservant sometimes. Atleast when it comes it chores.
I was mowing the lawn on Saturday and saw a vine growing in my tree and was kind of annoyed at it because I thought it was a weed of some kind and I would have to deal with it later. Well today I was out in my back yard again looking at the vine in my tree and I noticed a pretty large pumpkin (albeit a green pumpkin) attached to it. I further examined and saw that a single vine had found its way through my fence from my neighbors yard. That single vine grew and forced its way up my butterfly bush and into the 8 foot branches of my tree. And there dangling 8 feet off the the ground was a pumpkin! And there was another pumpkin growing 2 feet off the group closer to the fence. And I feel pretty dumb because obviously this has been going on for weeks right in my own backyard and I didn't even know it. Crazy!
I showed two friends the pumpkin phenomenon today and one said that it was the craziest thing he's seen all year. (I am pretty sure he's seen more than a couple crazy things too.)
Here are some pictures of the phenomenon.
#1 - the sneaky vine
#2 - the pumpkin dangling 2 - 3 feet off the ground by the fence
#3 - the pumpkin in the tree (8 feet off the ground)
#4 - the whole picture

Being Yellow

Sometimes it is exhausting to be a yellow. But then I try to not be yellow and I want to cry, pull my hair out and pass out from boredom.
Recently, I was sharing some of my random life adventures and got to one that I am not so proud of (getting a tattoo on a dare). When I was asked if I regretted the decision, I had to admit that while it was not the smartest thing I have ever done it is not on the top 10 list of things that I would do over if I had a chance.
That is the life of a yellow: impulsive, sheepish, and wondering "why the H did I do that?!" But other times I am absolutely marveled by how many completely amazing life experiences I have had. I feel blessed to have traveled and loved and played and celebrated.
I dont even know if I could even pick out my top 10 most yellow adventures, but I will share a few that I am most thankful for and that are rated PG.
** My Study Abroad to SE Asia. I didn't even have an inkling of interest in Asia at the time. In fact, I made fun of Asians (sorry Asian friends, this was pre-enlightenment). But my roommate (Big Red) said it would be fun so I did it. And it was fun and culturally enlightening. Fantastic!
** Moving to Orlando, FL. Why on earth would I move across the country to a place I didn't have a job and didn't know anyone? I ended up making some great, great friends while I was there though and have to say those years were the most fun of my whole life.
** Forgiving Easily. I have been really, really angry and frustrated with people in the past. Frustrated to the point of tears and angry to the point of being completely irrational. However, the gift of a yellow is that when someone says "I am sorry. I miss you. I need you." I can forgive. (its when they dont realize how much they like me that I continue to hold bad feelings - - a different topic entirely)
** Until I bought my house I was pretty much ready to move on a dime. If I wasn't happy with roommates, environment, or just about anything then I moved. I have lived in some pretty amazing places/ houses as a result. Sometimes I wish that I could sell my house so I could move again.
**There are some people who say I put up emotional walls and keep people at a distance. However, when I "click" with someone I throw all caution to the wind. I guess I am the kind of person who believes in love-at-first-sight and would elope on a 2nd date. Of course this has led to a few experiences I wish I could do over, but the romance of it all has been priceless. Perhaps this is why I keep searching . . . .

Island Life

What is more appealing? Life as an Amish wife? Or Life as a Tropmormish square? Tropmormish won the vote. 3.5 corners to .5 corners.
Here are the conditions of our deserted island life together:
#1 no technology
#2 we get to live in a tree house similiar to Swiss Family Robinson
#3 each member of the square gets to bring one thing to benefit the group in our new Tropmormish life.
Here is what we decided to bring:
Red: Her guitar. At first she wanted to bring a solar powered ipod but that was vetoed. Her guitar was the compromise.
Yellow: Her 72 hour Red Cross disaster kit to include also a tube of toothpaste for each square member and a Book of Mormon.
White: A tool belt complete with several hand tools
Blue: A package from UPS.
This was the most complicated decision because we had to decide what was going to be in this UPS package. A Wilson volleyball? no. Pillows? no. toothpaste? no. Gummy bears? maybe. It was a tough decision.
But in the end we came to a resolution for the contents of the UPS package. It will contain seeds! Seeds and gummy bears. And I personally will look forward to eating one gummy bear each day. I will look forward to and plan for when I will get to eat the savored gummy bear. Will it be red? orange? white? yellow? green? These will be the hardest decisions of my new Island/ Tropmormish life. I really look forward to it.
My first jobs on the island will be to carve out our Scrabble board game and to make pillows. The pillows will be filled with feathers that I will hand pluck from the gameish birds White Square strangles for our food.
This will be a good life.

Locked Out . . .

Once upon a time (this afternoon 2:20pm ish) I decided to help out my sister, Katie, and watch her 10 week old baby boy, Cameron, while she was teaching her Primary class. So I take Cam and we go into Sunday school. Following the "Amen" of the opening prayer he starts freaking out. I leave class with baby in my arms, my church bag, and the diaper bag. We sit in the foyer and he is happy for 5 minutes before he starts crying again . . .very loud. I go into the kitchen at church and heat up the bottle as instructed (5-10 seconds) and take crying Cameron & the bottle outside. (my purse, church bag and diaper bag are still in the foyer.)
2:35pm - Katie comes outside with the 2 bags and checks on us. She tells me that she came to check on her other 2 boys in the nursery, saw the bags in the foyer and started looking for us. Apparently someone's bag got stolen just last weekend from the foyer. sheesh . . .
Katie says I can walk baby home and skip the rest of church. (I guess I got brownie points for being the only one that didn't need to be taken out of Sacrament meeting.) So with baby in my arms, heeled sandles on my feet, and my purse (with bottle), but no diaper bag, we start walking across a grassy field (remember the heels) the 1/2 mile back to my sisters house.
2:55ish pm: Arriving home, Cameron is asleep in my arms but I discover that WE ARE LOCKED OUT! I try the doors - locked. I check the gate to the backyard - -swarming with bees, I check the garage key pad - - clueless on the passcode. I text my sister . . . no response. So I sit on the front porch with Cameron face down across my lap and wait.
3:00pm - I pull out my cell phone and start taking pictures of sleeping Cameron faced down on my lap. I text them to my mom and dad hoping they will text back and I will get some sympathy. . . . no response.
3:10pm - I pull out my book and start reading. Cameron senses that I am preoccupied and wakes up. We take a few "awake" pictures and text them to my parents . . . no response.
3:15 - I take the bottle that I have set in the sunny part of the porch and feed Cameron. that takes 5 minutes and then he starts fussing. he seemed to have liked the face down position so I lay him across my lap again and pat his back hoping that will "burp" him. I feel my leg, through my skirt, getting drenched in drool.
3:25pm - Cameron and I take a little walk to the other side of the house and lay down in the grass. He smiles and looks so dang cute laying there in the grass. I want to take more pictures. So I scoop him up and carry back to the side of the house where my stuff is and grab my cell phone again. I lay him back in the grass and take more pictures. I want to get some of the 2 of us laying there together but after about 20 attempts I give up.
3:40pm ish - I am laying on my back in the grass and I lift Cameron up over my head . . . he smiles. I bring in down to stand on my tummy. . . he smiles. I lift him up over my head again . . . he smiles . . . then . . . . pukes right in my face. By "my face" I mean in my mouth, on my right check, on my neck, in my hair, and the upper right side of my shirt. I start to gag and realize that baby barf is kind of sweet tasting. This realization makes me more nauseous.
3:47pm ish - I mop up my face with Cameron's little onesy and my skirt. Cameron is fussy because I am not holding him. I pick him up and walk barefoot down the street. I carry him face down & he seems happy.
3:55ish - I start walking back up the street and a neighbor pulls over and asks me if I am locked out. I say yes, hoping that he will say that he has a spare key. He does not have a key but he offers to let me sit in his house while I wait. I quickly make an assessment . . . no diaper bag, Katie will be home in 10 min and I dont know this guy. I say "no thanks" and sit back on the porch.
4:00. Church is out now. I figure they should be home in 6 - 10 minutes. I smile. Cameron starts fussing. I get up and carry him face down up the street again. He is happy. We walk back to the house. I check my cell phone. Its 4:06. There is still no response from Katie. I do, however, have 2 texts from Joe and Mike in response to the message I sent them saying baby threw up in my mouth. I got a little bit of sympathy. I feel better knowing this. Cameron starts fussing again so I start to walk back up the street. Then back. I walk towards the garage and see Katie's minivan pull up. I AM SAVED!! I SURVIVED!
4:15pm - Katie takes Cameron out my arms and asks if he has been fussy the whole time. I say no, but he did throw up in my mouth. She laughs. The laugh seems to say "welcome to my life". I tell her we were locked out. She looks at me unbelieveingly and says she should have given me the garage passcode. I dont say anything.
4:18pm - We walk inside and I change my shirt and pull back my hair. My mouth still tastes a little like baby barf so I eat some cookie dough.

blogging just to hear myself blog

Yadda yadda yadda . . . I had nothing to wear so I dressed like a human-ish canine. the next day yadda yadda yadda I drove an extra 20 miles cuz plaid shorts wouldn't cut it. I must need to go shopping.
And I apparently I must need more conversation. I talked to people all day and yet I feel like I haven't said anything. Oh wait, that is because I ask questions all day and listen to different versions of the same answer. bla bla bla. (Except for the lady that explained she didn't have a job for 6 years b/c she kept getting pregnant and had to keep giving her babies up for adoption. That was a little different than usual.)
So, although I am always around people I feel the need to vent and share. Well I am not really around people when I am driving, which happens to be quite a lot. And since I drive a convertible it makes hands free cell phone talking a bit windy and so I resultingly submit to car karaoke. Tonight's car karaoke involved old Brittney Spears (oh ya, Hit me baby one more time) and Bad English (when I see you smile) and a closing # involving the Bangles.
Today's meal menus were delicious, yet, a little bit redundant. Today was our company picnic/ luncheon which featured BBQ ribs, brisket, and corn on the cob followed by a brownie dessert. After work I drove down to visit with the fam (Everyone was there: Sister Katie & her family, Sister Mary and her BF, mom, dad, and even Gpa T). Well when I pulled up my dad was just doing a final basting of BBQ sauce on the ribs, mom was inside boiling corn on the cob and my sisters were eating appetizer brownies. A little de je vu .....
Also I am feeling too "settled" lately. I need an adventure. twice in the last 10 months my roommate has burst in and announced an immediate departure to somewhere very cool with a cute boy. What the heck??!! Of course living in the little mormon whore house (dont read too much into that) you would expect an unexpected invitation BUT EUROPE?? HAWAII?? Am I jealous?? Yes, of course I am. Do I wish my roommate a "bon voyage"? yes, of course I do.

A diet in the day of me

7:30am - a small bowl of frosted mini wheats with vanilla soy milk

Square Homework

For my square homework this week I have been assigned to create a blog. I accepted this assignment because I have been meaning to make blog for a while now. My sister and her cute family have a blog and I love it. My roommate (aka Red Square) has a blog and I love hers too. Blue Square supposedly has a blog but I have not seen it.
I am sure this blog will evolve and be something to be proud of. But for now I will add pictures of the square members in their glory.
